5. Are joint injections painful?

The injection is usually only minimally painful. Many preparations contain local anesthetics for added comfort. Mild, temporary discomfort may occur for 1-2 days after the injection.

Multiple injections (3-5 sessions): Ostenil Plus, HyalOne, Synvisc (3 pcs.)

7. Which joints are hyaluronic acid injections suitable for?

Knee joint (most common application), hip joint, shoulder joint, ankle joint, wrist and smaller joints. Durolane is approved for all large joints.

8. When does the effect occur?

First improvement after 2-4 weeks, optimal effect after 4-8 weeks. Cingal offers noticeable improvement after just a few days thanks to the corticosteroid it contains.

9. Does the health insurance company cover the costs?

Statutory health insurance companies usually do not cover the costs as standard. Private insurance companies reimburse more frequently. Prior clarification with the health insurance company is recommended.

10. What side effects are there?

Hyaluronic acid injections are very well tolerated. Possible side effects are usually mild: local swelling, redness, mild pain (1-2 days). Rare: joint effusion or allergic reactions.

11. Can the treatment be repeated?

Yes, after the duration of action (6-12 months) the treatment can be repeated. There is no limit on repetitions.

Cingal combines hyaluronic acid with triamcinolone (corticosteroid) for immediate pain relief and long-lasting effects in just one injection.

13. Who are joint injections not suitable for?

Contraindications: Acute joint infection, allergy to hyaluronic acid, severe blood clotting disorders, pregnancy, skin infections in the injection area.

The costs vary depending on the preparation and number of sessions. Single-shot solutions have higher unit costs but only require one treatment. Durolane With a duration of action of 12 months, it offers the best cost-benefit ratio.

No, joint injections cannot cure osteoarthritis, but they significantly relieve symptoms, reduce pain, improve mobility, slow down cartilage loss and can delay surgery.

16. What is the difference between Juvéderm and Restylane?

Juvederm: Vycross technology with higher cohesiveness and longer shelf life (up to 18 months), smoother consistency.

Restylane: NASHA technology with more precise shaping and more natural movement, durability 6-12 months.

17. Which filler lasts the longest?

21. Are cheaper fillers worse?

22. Can different fillers be combined?

Yes, different fillers can be combined in different areas of the face. Example: Juvederm Voluma for cheeks + Restylane Kysse for lips. Important: All products should be based on hyaluronic acid.

23. How painful are filler treatments?

Most modern fillers contain lidocaine for low-pain treatments. Additionally, anesthetic cream or ice cooling can be used. The treatment is generally well tolerated.

24. How long do dermal fillers last?

26. What are the side effects of fillers?

Common (1-3 days): Swelling, redness, mild pain, tenderness. Uncommon: bruising, induration. Rare: Allergic reactions, uneven results.

27. Can fillers be dissolved?

Yes, hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Resolution occurs within 24-48 hours.

28. What is Lemon Bottle?

Lemon Bottle is an innovative injection solution for non-surgical fat reduction. The treatment is based on riboflavin (vitamin B2), lecithin and bromelain, which specifically dissolve fat cells.

29. How does Lemon Bottle work?

Triple effect: 1) Lipolysis (fat dissolution), 2) Metabolic activation, 3) Lymphatic drainage to remove the dissolved fat cells.

30. Is Lemon Bottle painful?

The treatment is well tolerated. You may experience a slight burning or warm feeling during the injection. Optionally, an anesthetic cream can be used.

31. How many Lemon Bottle treatments are necessary?

Small areas (double chin): 2-3 treatments | Middle areas (abdomen, hips): 3-5 treatments | Large areas (thighs): 4-6 treatments. Treatment interval: 1-2 weeks.

32. How long do Lemon Bottle results last?

The results are permanent because dissolved fat cells cannot grow back. A stable weight is required.

33. Can I lose weight with Lemon Bottle?

No, Lemon Bottle is not a method for weight loss, but rather for targeted body contouring for people of normal weight with local fat deposits. Not suitable for BMI over 30.

34. When are Lemon Bottle results visible?

First results after 1-2 weeks, optimal results after 4-8 weeks, final result after 3-4 months.
