Young skin is rich in hyaluronic acid, a body's own substance that binds water and thus gives the skin moisture and volume. With increasing age, the body's own hyaluronic acid production and the typical signs of aging occur - wrinkles arise and face contours. Restylane supports the natural beauty by giving the skin back from the inside volume and moisture and thus ensuring a vital appearance.
Restylane defyne is suitable for correction deep wrinkles or a moderate loss of volume of the skin. It is used for treatment on deep facial folds (e.g. nasolabial folds), the puppet folds and the tear channel (dark circles) running downwards.
Restylane is injected directly into the wrinkles with a wafer -thin needle. The hyaluronic acid depot introduced binds the moisture under the skin, the wrinkle is raised/smoothed and the skin again looks fresh and smooth. Treatment takes up little time, usually less than 30 minutes. The improvements are immediately visible.
Restylane is a biosynthetically produced, injectable hyaluronic acid gel. Based on a patented technology, it is produced to stabilize hyaluron, namely the non-animally stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA) technology.
The active ingredient concentration of Restylane Defyne is HA 20 mg/ml and 3 mg of lidocaine.
